G’bye Japan and Touch Down in Berlin

G’bye Japan as you hope to see me again!

Before the immigration office: Japan hopes to see me again.

For Chinese and visitors of Shanghai and Shenzhen, the answer was 44 …

Visitors to China, Shanghai and Shenzhen, go via 44 (not a good sign)

For me, the anser was 42!

My answer gate is 42!

Landed in Qatar 13 hours later with hardly any sleep.

Qatar Airport and the heat of the desert.

BTW: Qatar Airways operates their entertainment systems on Linux!
I had the chance to observe a full system reboot in Osaka …

Just a little challenge for the brain: can muslims eat in the plane during Ramadan if it’s 8 a.m. in the departure city and night at the current fly-over location?

13:20 Berlin local time, embracing my wife after a very long time for a very long time.

Wandering astray on TXL airport after 31 hours of travel from hot and humid Tokyo through sunburnt Qatar to rainy Berlin.

But we avoided the public transport since I could not take this presumed culture shock of rough shouting against the ever-friendly Japanese announcements. Domo arigato gozaimashda!

And now give me 10 hours of sleep.
